Description

We are currently looking for a person with high focus on quality and supplier development! Do you enjoy working with a combination of quality and continuous improvements? Then the position as Supplier Development Engineer might be the next step for you.

In your role as Supplier Development Engineer you will be part of a newly started team within Central Supply Management focusing on proactively improving supplier performance. The position is based in Lund and frequent travelling is required.

Tetra Pak Processing Systems sells and delivers customised liquid food plants within food, dairy & beverage industry to customers worldwide. We supply our solutions through a worldwide network of market companies.

Central Supply Management (CSM) within Tetra Pak Processing Systems is responsible for the supplier base for Processing Solutions globally.


Main responsibilities
- Plan and drive supplier development activities
- Analyze and Deploy supplier quality and audit performance data
- Audit TPPS suppliers according to the Total Quality audit framework
- Coach and support suppliers in improvement activities


Qualifications

We believe that you have excellent communications skills and the ability to influence and inspire others. When you are working with implementing quality processes and systems you must have the ability to develop and coach our suppliers in a positive direction. In your daily work you have a strong drive for results, combined with a quality mindset.

To be successful in this position you have a university degree in Engineering or similar. Training within quality tools is meriting. We believe that you have approx. 5 years of work experience that includes dealing with suppliers, supplier quality and project management. For the position, excellence in spoken and written English and MS Office is a must. Experience in SAP and Qlikview is a merit.

A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
