Are you a talented Supplier Development Engineer with a passion for quality assurance and process improvement? Epiroc's Strategic Sourcing department in Underground Rock Excavation (URE) is actively seeking a driven individual who is committed to excellence.

Your mission
As a Supplier Development Engineer, you'll be a key player in ensuring high-quality products from our suppliers. Your responsibilities include driving proactive quality measures, conducting audits, and resolving production-related issues. You'll initiate quality assurance activities, cost reduction efforts, and process development both internally and with suppliers. Active participation in internal and external quality projects, collaboration with commodity managers, and specialized competence in welding are essential. Your focus on continuous improvement will ensure accurate documentation in the Integrated Management System (IMS).
In summary, your role is crucial to maintaining our commitment to excellence in product quality, driving improvements in internal processes, and contributing to external projects.

Your profile
We welcome applications from individuals with a university degree in quality assurance or equivalent experience. Key qualifications include proven experience in quality work, a solid understanding of common quality tools, and familiarity with process thinking. Knowledge of our products is advantageous but not mandatory.
We're looking for candidates who demonstrate a results-oriented approach, a positive attitude, self-starting capabilities, and a proactive mindset. A strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is essential. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are valued, along with a structured working approach and a high degree of flexibility. Due to our global operations, candidates must be willing to travel, and excellent proficiency in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing, is required.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
