We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer to the Strategic Sourcing Organization within the Surface Division (SRD). The position is based in Örebro PC (Eyra) where you will belong to a dedicated agile team that care about each other, have a lot of fun and that likes to find new opportunities to develop continuously.

Your mission
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible, in close cooperation with Category-/ Sourcing Management to secure the supplier base performance- and compliance, best total cost of ownership, service, flexibility and SHEQ to Epiroc according to defined expectations.
Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for driving the overall supplier development activities within the Strategic Sourcing Organization.
The assignment includes:
• Development and implementation of category strategies
• Audit Process including quality system, environment, ethics and social issues
• Supplier Base performance, follow up and escalation process (SQDP)
• Pursue development of suppliers on performance, environment, ethics and social issues according to established goals
• Drive proactive activities to ensure best DFM/DFA/DFQ
• PQAP (Part Quality Assurance Process)
• TSQP (Total Supplier Quality Process)
• Review of Technical Specification (RTS) in Basic-, New- and CPI Development Projects/Activities
• Case holder responsibilities
• Surface Division representative in Global Supplier Development initiatives within Epiroc Group
Your profile
Extensive experience in Supplier Development within Strategic Sourcing and the manufacturing industry. Project manager skills and/or other leadership skills are preferred.
University degree in engineering or corresponding experience and competence. Trained/experienced auditor and Six Sigma or similar competence.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish is required.
Well-structured and a solid interest in engineering combined with sourcing. Ability to build long-term relations and understand the communication needs between Epiroc, suppliers and key stakeholders.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Regular travel, both domestic and international, is expected.
