We are looking for an individual who has a large passion for cars as for making good business. You have a drive to develop and see the results of your hard work in terms of finished products. We are looking for an individual with a background in automotive manufacturing or similar and with a high sense of quality.
The Role
This position is an integral part of the Quality organization and will be responsible for managing the development, selection, implementation & optimization of a team of Supplier development Engineers. The successful candidate will ensure all products and processes meet customer and company requirements.
They will be responsible for ensuring root causes for supplier quality issues are identified quickly and Koenigsegg changes are pushed to suppliers efficiently to reduce the need for on-site sorts and rework.
The Manager will be responsible for reporting on supplier performance metrics as well as status of quality related design changes and supplier improvement actions. They will work with Production Quality and Quality Engineers to bring timely closure to all issues.
Responsibilities
- Personnel and budget responsibilities
- Develop and lead the group towards set goals and the right level of competence
- Responsible for reporting KPI: s to management team
- Lead and develop the organization for ongoing production and commissioning of new processes with all the underlying requirements
- Working with continuous improvements (Lean) with quality in focus
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Supplier Industrialization, Design and Suppliers to assure confirming material is delivered to the line and non-conforming material is properly dispositioned.
- Gather and interpret key supplier performance metrics to drive reduction in open sorts/reworks and improve overall quality.
- Maintain an audit program to assure defined improvements at suppliers are implemented quickly.
- Lead issue resolution in conjunction with the Quality Engineering groups incl. root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
- Drive timely analysis and disposition of issues impacting production from assemblies and parts.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in a technology manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Personnel and budget responsibilities
- Manufacturing and/or Design Engineering background with ability to recommend changes to accommodate rate, cost, and quality improvements.
- Proficient knowledge in Quality Control Metrics, data analysis, and process improvements.
- Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware and standard software
- An extensive knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, Production and Quality concepts including Six Sigma and Quality Control Methods.
- Fluent both in English and Swedish, in writing and verbally
