The Rosemount TankRadarABdivision of Emerson Process Management is a leading provider of radar-based level and tank gauging solutions for the marine, oil & gas and process industry markets.[ Founded in 1976, the company has a turnover of over 1 billion kr and employs over 400 people worldwide.[ To support rapid growth and expansion into new areas, we are adding a number of new positions in R&D, purchasing, service and other areas.[ The company is owned by Emerson (NYSE:EMR), an American company with over 128,000 employees and $US20 billion in sales.[ Our purchasing department is expanding and we need a new member with previous commercial experience from purchasing and/or supply chain management.The group, which consist of nine persons, is responsible for selection of and negotiations with suppliers to all parts that are included in our high technology products and systems.The main tasks in addition to general purchasing activities are: - participation in projects with the aim of improving key business indicators such as inventory turns and lead time reduction - evaluation of supplier's performance and assistance with improvement projects at suppliers.The work is challenging and the content may vary over time.We require a formal technical degree at university level; preferably within mechanics or electronics, good organisational skills and previous experience from procurement in logistics- or sales processes.Previous experience of tools for production technology such as Lean Manufacturing or material planning is a merit.The work will be done in cooperation with other departments internally as well as externally.You also need to be familiar with modern MPS-system and traditional PC-programs.Driver's licence category B is required.Please apply by using the apply button or the link below, no later than May 20.
