Supplier Manager

You will be part of ABB High Voltage Breakers in Ludvika. With a global responsibility for ABB production and sales of high voltage breakers for AC and DC power systems. New products are developed and tested at our own high power laboratory. Our customers are found both in Sweden and abroad. High voltage breakers is a critical part of every reliable and energy efficient power system.

As Supplier Manager at HV Breakers you will be responsible for your own supplier portfolio, which you constantly evaluate and develop. With a range of tasks, a broad network and an independent job, you will focus on the unit?s supply base. Aspects such as cost, quality and contract signing as well as following up supplier performance will be a natural part of each day, as will logistics be. The role gives you the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally. You have a degree in Engineering, Economics or Supply Chain Management and have a few years work experience. Alternatively, you have gained equivalent competence through working in a similar position. We work with a wide range of article types such as castings, machined components, sheet metal and electronic components and experience within these areas is highly valued. Perhaps you have skills in Contract Law, Logistics and Quality?
