Supplier Manager

ValueOne is looking for a Supplier Manager for an assignment at a company in Skåne, in the southern part of Sweden. The assignment lasts for four months and starts in mid-May.

The role  

As Supplier Manager you will be responsible for securing supply and performance in terms of quality, delivery and cost. You will work collaboratively with regional and local teams through regular network meetings to share, gather information and develop effective and efficient best practice. Remote work is possible to some extent.

Main tasks:

Support Global Projects Implementation from a Procurement point of view.
Lead and manage sourcing and contracting activities as per strategy and policy via the company´s e-procurement solution, identify and implement cost saving initiatives.
Develop and maintain relationships approach towards key stakeholders.
Have an end-to-end Supplier Management process understanding and secure early involvement with business stakeholders.
Define and manage performance improvements focusing on strategic needs.
Manage relationships and collaborations with strategically important suppliers.

Experience and competencies  

The person we are looking for as Supplier Manager is a self-motivated team player with good business understanding. You must have experience in project management and we expect you to have a high proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge and experience of SAP BO, Ariba and PowerBI and previous experience of procurement of Indirect Services is desired. Since you will be working in an international environment, excellent skills in English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Additionally, you have highly developed communication and collaboration skills and an analytical mindset.
