Supplier Management leads and manages the sourcing, contracting and supplier base management of Tetra Pak. The team has full accountability for cost, with an underlying objective to provide World Class Quality & Performance at the lowest cost and with a focus on supply chain agility and sustainability.
Within this organization we are looking for a Supplier Manager who will have a high level of responsibility in Supplier Management team in Lund, driving and developing category strategies and supplier related activities in alignment with business strategies, to secure the achievement of KPI’s related to quality, cost and delivery.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden.
You may be required to travel abroad up to 20% of your time.
What you will do
As Supplier Manager you will:
· Ensure definition, deployment and successful implementation of categories strategies within the area of responsibility
· Drive supplier selection and development in accordance to commodity strategy, risk management, global process and new technology/product requirements
· Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with business requirements
· Ensure supplier agreements reflect current and future business needs in terms of quality, availability and competitive cost of components
· Coordination of activities with main stakeholders, e.g. D&E, Processing BUs, PS&E Operations, Tetra Pak Services
Who you are?
We believe you have a University degree in Economics or Engineering and at least 3 years experience within supplier management / supplier quality management or procurement. Solid know-how in supply chain will be considered a plus. Know-how of Equipment & Spare parts business will be considered a plus.
The position demands a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills.
As a person you are a driver with strong communication skills, and you can cooperate with customers, suppliers and colleagues at your level or superior level to achieve common goals and maintain effective working relationships.
You can get others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical and efficient.
Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential.
