Supplier Management leads and manages the sourcing, contracting and supplier base management of Tetra Pak. The team has full accountability for cost, with an underlying objective to provide World Class Quality & Performance at the lowest cost and with a focus on supply chain agility, sustainability and resilience.
We are looking for a Supplier Manager who will have a high level of responsibility in Supplier Management Equipment and Parts, supporting category strategies development and supplier related activities in alignment with business strategies, to secure the achievement of KPI’s related to quality, cost and delivery and strong focus on securing supply.
The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy. The job will require some travelling.
What you will do
As a Supplier Manager you will be responsible for drive supplier selection and development in accordance with commodity strategy, risk management, global process and quality requirements. You will also drive benchmarks with new potential suppliers with focus on East Europe and Far East. An important part of the job is to secure supply of goods to guarantee Tetra Pak business continuity in challenging periods in the market for material cost and availability.
You will focus on
Support the definition, deployment and successful implementation of categories strategies within the area of responsibility
Drive initiatives to support the Globalisation of the current Supplier base securing that Modules will be available at the most competitive conditions
Coordinate crisis management activities connected to Electrical cabinets category and automation components shortage
Engage fact-based negotiations with suppliers by leveraging on should cost analysis and controlling key drivers of cost model
Implement supplier agreements in alignment with stakeholders (D&T, PSE Operations, Service Supply Network) to support PLC, planning and capacity requirements, stock management.
Who you are
We believe you have a university degree in Economics or Engineering and at least 3 years’ working experience in supplier management, supplier quality management or procurement. You have good knowledge of SAP, BO, Ariba, PowerBI. Knowledge of supply chain will be considered a plus. Know-how of Module & Equipment business will be considered a plus. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
You are an open-minded person with a strong drive for results. Your communication skills are excellent and work cross-functionally at all levels with different stakeholders is natural for you. You are comfortable to challenge the current state and you have the ability to get others to see and believe your points. You are a pragmatic and analytical person who can dela with have ambiguity and continuous change.
