Your responsibilities
As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you will play an important role of securing and developing the quality on components and products delivered from our suppliers.
You will secure the suppliers to deliver right quality by both assessing and securing the suppliers production and quality processes.
You will work closely in collaboration with technical department to assure the correct and clear quality expectations are set to our suppliers. 
The SQE will both support and initiate quality related activities together with SCM. All quality deviations will be channeled thru the SQE that will ensure that right corrective actions will be initiated, closed and followed up. Relevant KPIs will be initiated and monitored by the SQE.
The SQE will also manage supplier qualification process, including review and assessment of suppliers’ qualification documents and perform on-site audits with both assessing suppliers’ capabilities and capacity.
Early involvement of SQE in projects and product development is essential to minimize risks. The SQE also needs to work closely with key suppliers to develop a lean and quality culture to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery and cost.
Perform supply quality issue resolution including supplier claims preparation.

Your Background
As SQE, you are genuine interested in technical components and products.
Good communication and cooperation skills to be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization, as well as suppliers and customers.
You are familiar to work in a “large project environment” close to the customer and have +5 years’ experience in quality or engineering.
A systematic approach as e.g. Lean Six Sigma or similar for addressing quality issues is required.
You are English speaking and have preferable academic degree in engineering or similar.
The position is based in Ludvika, Sweden and the role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and expediting of components and products.
