ValueOne is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for an exciting consultant assignment at our customer´s premises in Skövde. The assignment starts in September and is expected to last for two years.

The Role
As a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer you will manage around 20 suppliers, driving their development and continuous improvement initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to prevent customer disturbances by ensuring that external suppliers adhere to the specified standards. This role requires auditing supplier sites, with travel requirements of approximately 1.5 trips per month, often lasting four days.
Remote work is possible to some extent.
Main tasks:
Supporting sourcing teams with quality data collection.
Verifying supplier capacity and quality, including conducting PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
Performing supplier audits and ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 standards.
Collaborating with procurement teams to review and approve supplier selections.
Working on 8D report analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Ensuring adherence to quality assurance methods and procedures throughout the supply chain.
Experience and Competencies
To succeed in this role, you should have a university-level education or equivalent experience, along with strong knowledge in manufacturing or related fields. Knowledge from automotive industry is advantageous. Familiarity with R&D, PPAP, plant operations, purchasing procedures and ISO/IATF 16949 standards is essential. You should also have experience with quality assurance methods and procedures, as well as leadership skills that enable you to drive suppliers toward effective problem resolution. The role requires the ability to work cross-functionally to support the quality-solving process, with a structured, target-driven, analytical and flexible approach to your work. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary, and proficiency in Swedish is highly meritorious. Experience from working in SAP is highly desired.
