Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The Supplier Quality Audit team at Scania Purchasing evaluate if current and potential suppliers fulfil our high demands. Now we are looking for a new addition to our team at Supplier Quality. The question is:

The team

We are today 4 auditors in Södertälje and see a need to increase the team with one more auditor to meet the future demands. We do audits for Scania, TRATON, and VW Group and are included in a network of well over 100 auditors within VW Group worldwide.

Our team mainly supports the purchasing organization by performing supplier audits at supplier facilities to evaluate if they can be a good supplier that fulfills our demands before sourcing decisions. The audit includes several areas such as assessment of manufacturing processes, project management, quality system, product and process development. 

You

When working in our team you will meet diverse cultures and organizations. This requires you to be a highly professional, social, and diplomatic person. Your way of working is structured with a systematic approach. You have an interest in sharing knowledge and informally guiding and leading others.

In this role, you will be considered as a senior within our Supplier quality organization. Therefore, work experience in either quality assurance, production engineering, or auditing production processes for at least five years is necessary. Since you will be auditing suppliers for all kind of products and various production processes technical knowledge and understanding is essential. We think that you have a university degree in engineering.

In order to carry out your daily work, you need to have experience in quality management systems and auditing methods. A driver’s license is needed, since you will be out traveling most of the working weeks.

Your tasks

Your main tasks are:


• prepare and plan audits by gathering information from drawings, our internal organization, cross functions, and regulations
• conduct audits according to VDA6.3 method
• write and distribute audit reports (English)
• follow-up implementation of agreed actions

We offer

The position is located at Scania Purchasing office in Södertälje Sweden. The audits are mainly carried out in Scandinavia and Europe, so international travels are a big part of your work.
You plan your work independently, supported by a well-defined methodology and process. You will collaborate and develop ways of working together with a broad network of colleagues within Scania, TRATON, and Volkswagen Group. At Scania Purchasing you will have engaged colleagues from all over the world.
