HVDC is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the Supplier Quality team that is dedicated to implement a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.

Your responsibilities
Drive Quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality plan implementation
Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring a robust qualification process execution
Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify area for improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards
Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis) and analyze periodically historical NC to drive improvement plan
Planning, Execution and Follow up of Surveillance Audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement)
Lead Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement
Support Supplier claim management process
The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and inspection of components and products

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
3+ years’ experience in quality roles in a multinational company
Green Belt certification is desirable
Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor would be a plus)
Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment
Experience in product qualification process (PPAP or similar)
Fluency in English – capability to lead technical conference calls, read drawings and procedures in English
Solid communication skills for cross functional and global team environments
