JBT is an international market leading company in the global food processing industry. We have offices in more than 100 countries all over the world and we have customers like Gunnar Dafgård AB, Fazer Oy and Danish Crown AmbA. As we continue to grow, we are now hiring new people to join our Sourcing & Purchasing department in Helsingborg.

Job Summary

• You will work as a Supplier Quality Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Sourcing & Purchasing.
• Your main responsibilities will be to develop the supplier base with focus on long term supplier quality and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Improve on time delivery. (OTD)
• Drive and execute supplier audits as well as performing internal audits.
• Secure quality specifications, implementation of new materials and establish quality assurance plans.
• Execute introduction/phase of new suppliers as well as phase out suppliers.
• Follow-up on deviations, deviation cost, publishing statistics, establishing action plans and assist in warranty case handling.
• Drive yearly evaluation of the Supplier Base.


Qualifications/Skills Required

Our focus is finding the right person, to further develop you and the company. As a person, you have an analytical mind-set and a good understanding of processes. You are both flexible and structured. Driven to develop yourself and others and have good interpersonal communication skills.

 You have:

• An Engineering degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience of Supplier Quality Development or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing company or similar.
• Experience from stainless steel sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Practical experience from Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and Lean/Six Sigma
• Fluent in English
