Supplier quality engineer

Ericsson supply site in Kumla is globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialization and initial production of the next generation radio base stations.We are the link between design and volume production.We make sure Ericsson's high technology products are manufactured with high quality, in an effective and cost efficient way.Our responsibility includes securing an efficient supply chain flow for our products globally.The work mainly contains of proactive work with our new and ongoing suppliers to secure high quality on incoming material to Kumla and our EMS partners.By using quality tools and performing process audits we can control our supplier's processes.This will be done along the whole product life cycle.Internally within Kumla you will have interface with supply change management.Externally, you will have interfaces with Ericsson R&D centers, sourcing and of course your main focus, our suppliers.Travelling is a natural part of this position.Utbildning/erfarenhet We are looking for a person with a technical bachelor degree in mechanics or equivalent experience.You should have a proactive attitude and be used to working in complex environments.As a person you are independent, self-confident and well organized with an analytical mind.We are also looking for a supplier quality engineer who has: - knowledge to read and understand technical specifications (incl.Drawings) - practical and theoretical experience of production processes - ability to handle difficult discussions and difficult situations - computer skills (MS Office, SAP, CBS) - excellent knowledge of the English and Swedish language, both verbally and in writing - very good communication and presentation skills.To be successful in this position you should also be quality minded and used to working with quality tools.The preferred candidate should have good communication skills as the role involves a wide variety of communication and interaction with suppliers and users throughout the Ericsson organization.Företagsbeskrivning Ericsson is the world's leading provider of technology and services to telecom operators.The company's portfolio comprises mobile and fixed network infrastructure, telecom services, software, broadband and multimedia solutions for operators, enterprises and the media industry.
