Supplier Quality Engineer

As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at Dentsply Sirona Implants you will work closely with the Global and Local Procurment department and our suppliers. The main objective for the position is to secure quality assurance of supplied components/products. Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is used as the tool for quality assurance. The SQE will work in a Global Environment and be part of cross functional teams. In order to secure fulfilment of established requirements and be able to solve any issues, close cooperation with other functions as well as close cooperation with SQEs in both Sweden and Germany is required.


Responsibilities:
Fulfilment of PPAP elements
Design reviews with the supplier in order to transfer knowledge of the components/products
Performing Supplier Audits according to ISO 13485
Supplier Nonconformities and CAPA


Qualifications / Background:
We believe you have:
Master or Bachelor degree in engineering, science or technical discipline
at least 3 years of experience within Quality Assurance
experience of working with PPAP for several years
qualified to act as lead auditor
it is considered as an advantage if you are familiar with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDD 93/42/, MDR 2017/745 and FDA Quality System Regulation or have experience from medical device or other product areas with high regulatory demands
analytic and structured approach of working, attention to details and the ability to work both in cross functional team and independently
ability to maintain good relations with both external and internal contacts
good communication in English as well as Swedish, both written and verbally
