HV Breakers (High Voltage Breakers) is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids located in Ludvika. The unit has worldwide responsibility for the development, production and sale of high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. High voltage plays an important role in reliable and energy efficient power systems.
Within the Supplier Quality organization, our mission is to ensure that purchased materials for our production units always keep high quality level. As Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for one or several product areas and perform preventive quality assurance along with supplier development.
Your responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for product complaints to our Feeder Factories.
You will establish and perform good follow-up processes with the Feeder Factories
Discuss quality improvements with Feeder Factories
Support for line qualifications and support in 8D reports/Root cause Analysis
Follow up Feeder Factory quality performance
At local quality meetings, present ongoing Feeder Factories cases
Be the link between Ludvika factory and Feeder Factories during quality discussions

Your background
You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent technical competence
Fluency in Swedish and English language, both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills, internally and in your communication with others in a multicultural environment
It is qualifying with product knowledge, High Voltage Circuit Breaker
You have experience within Production or design
Experience of working with suppliers
You know how to build a successful team
Experience of CCRP and Synergy is a merit
