National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) builds on the Saab Automobile AB legacy of innovative power, quality, progressive design and a firm commitment to environmental and safety issues. Our aim is to be a front runner in the automotive industry, with focus on electric vehicles.

Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.

The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.

 
Description
As Supplier Quality Engineer you will work in an international environment with responsibility for contacts with our external suppliers. You will
- manage projects in sourcing quality and take responsibility for
  what our suppliers are performing to NEVS
- coordinate contacts with international partners such as
  purchasing, engineering, design, and production.
- work with the advanced choice of suppliers, making qualified
  evaluations and develop suppliers. This way you will have an
  important role in the production of our new cars.
- work with the control of the supplier's production process,
  safety and production in order to maintain the correct quality
  and get production flowing. The work covers the entire line
  from the selection, implementation, monitoring of quality
  control as well as some technical support.


Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has
- a Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent
  experience
- extensive experience in purchasing activities in industry
- competence and experience in APQP work
- relevant experience in the automotive industry is an advantage

You can speak and write well in English and Swedish.
