Supplier Quality Engineer in Gothenburg

ValueOne is looking for experienced and dedicated Supplier Quality Engineers for consultant assignments to our customer in Gothenburg. The role

As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you will be responsible for evaluating suppliers and identify weaknesses, gaps and potential risks through application of different Supplier Evaluation tools and live audits.

Main tasks:

Within the team of Supplier Evaluation Specialists maintain and develop audit tools.
Coach the supplier together with the SQE on making risk mitigation plans.
Actively support process harmonization and best practice sharing.
Work in accordance with the internal processes and the Code of Conduct.
Perform audits towards the Supply Chain in accordance with the Purchasing strategy.

Experience and competencies

We seek candidates with a degree in Engineering, an MBA, or at least ten years of technical experience, including five years in Supplier Quality or similar roles. Must have led audits, understand ISO 19011, and be proficient in production processes and Lean/5S/Gemba principles. Experience in Purchasing is valued. Strong continuous improvement, English fluency, and communication skills are required. Must adapt to diverse cultures, build supplier relationships, and possess analytical and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, we value your ability to lead multicultural teams, work independently and manage projects. Coaching and mentoring skills are essential.
