Supplier Quality Engineer to GE Additive

We are currently looking for an Supplier Quality Engineer to GE Additive in Mölnlycke

GE Additive develops and sells systems for free-form production. The company's technology, Electron Beam Melting, means that the component is built up of molten metal powder in layers upon layers. GE Additives products are mainly used to manufacture orthopedic implants and in the aerospace industry. The head office is located in Mölnlycke and has support offices in the USA, Italy and China.

Your are eesponsible for ensuring quality in our supplier relationships, covering qualification of production parts (i.e. preventive assurance) in product development projects and in production transfers, as well as monitoring supplier performance in serial production to improve and sustain suppliers Q-performance.

For this roll the main tasks are described below
• Drive supplier Deviation reporting (DR) and follow up
• Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to incoming inspection
• Support supplier audits
• Monthly monitor, obtain and present the departments KPI’s (Supplier related)
• Take an active roll in New Product Introduction project and Product Care project to qualify parts and suppliers.
• Perform incoming inspection related to the projects

This is a full-time consulting assignment with start date as soon as possible until 2022-06-30. During the period of assignment, you will be employed by StudentConsulting.

Din profil
The following qualifications are required:

- Academic background in quality or engineering (minimum Bachelor’s degree) or similar work experience
- Experience in quality techniques such as. 6-sigma FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D and 5-why. Incoming inspection
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English

If you have experince of working with Minitab we se this as a merit.
