The Electronic manufacturer GPV are in an exciting and positive development journey with many upcoming investments and new products. As part of this development, we are recruiting a new Supplier Quality Engineer! For this role we are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to take the next step as our newest member in our Quality team. As Supplier Quality Engineer, the focus is primarily to work with supplier quality. You are part of the quality department, which includes 4 Quality Engineers, 3 Quality Technicians and an SHE-specialist. You will report data and figures to the Quality Manager, who is your immediate manager. You have contact with suppliers in quality matters and have a close collaboration with both production and incoming control/purchasing. The role is close to production, we see a high presence in the factory. Single trips per year may occur.
• Register and follow up supplier complaints and participate in the investigation work
• Investigate and troubleshoot deviations linked to supplier quality
• Coordinate, lead and improve control of incoming material
• Coordinate and participate in supplier audits
• Update and improve existing procedures and processes and train relevant personnel in this
• Participate in internal audits
• Collaborate with purchasing and projects regarding new products or suppliers
What we are looking for….
The absolute most important thing is that you have a self-motivated drive and the desire to develop. We are looking for you who have an engineering education with a focus on quality or similar and have worked for a couple of years as a Quality Engineer. You are at the beginning of your career, show great curiosity to learn more, want to develop and work with quality issues at an international company. You will collaborate with many different contact points within the company, both in Västerås and internationally, so you must have a professional level of speaking and writing in both Swedish and English.
• Understanding of various quality tools
• Clear understanding of ISO 9001
• Experience from ISO/TS 22163 or IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) is advantageous
• Ability to organize, prioritize and focus on completing your task
