We are now looking for a SQE who wants to be part of a dynamic strategic sourcing team working with submarines and surface ships!
Your role
The role aims to ensure the right quality from SAAB´s suppliers, and thereby minimizing supplier related quality costs through proactive work within the supply chain in cooperation with sourcing and design departments. Your main tasks:

The SQE shall actively participate in the evaluation and qualification of new and existing suppliers, as lead auditor and participant
*
Drive and coordinate Product/Process quality assurance activities within the supply chain, Process qualification/validation for special processes (in close collaboration with design, production & purchasing).
*
Determine Quality Control Instructions for purchased products together with Designer
*
Participate in MRB meetings and drive supplier product quality claims
*
Initiate supplier development activities by analyzing supplier data (NCR/SCAR and POF) and follow-up on supplier improvements together with sourcing.
*
Drive and coordinate supplier audit programs
*
Work to spread "Best Practices" within Saab
*
Collaborate and network with other quality functions within Saab, such as Production Quality Manager, Process Quality Manager and SQE-council.
Your profile
We are looking for a person who has a strong drive to finish tasks and can motivate others to finish. To be successful in this role you are a person that can manage a high degree of freedom, manage many interfaces during a working day, you need to be flexible, able to handle a high workflow and be service minded. It is seen as a merit if you have experience from build-to-print parts from metal working industry such as welded constructions.
Required skills:

Ability to work independently in the following areas: claims management, PPAP and supplier approval.

Ability to working a sourcing team within the sourcing process securing product quality
*
Ability to effectively solve problems in cooperation with stakeholders such as Engineering and production
*
Ability to apply an overall perspective (QDC) with a good commercial judgement and to participate in long-term development of strategic business relationships.
*
High capacity to acquire, apply and share knowledge.
*
Knowledge about quality tools and processes, strategic procurement, purchasing- and project management.
*
Team working ability and capacity to drive a working process forward.
*
Fluent in written and oral Swedish and professional business English
*
Excellent knowledge of working with Office programs
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
