Supplier Quality Engineer within PCBA/Electronics in Stockholm

Randstad Engineering is now looking for 2 consultants to join an assignment with a client. The client is within the automotive industry and the assignments are within the field of Supplier Quality. You will be a part of the clients buying organization and join the group who is responsible for the supplier Quality of PCBA, electronic components and mounted circuit boards. You will also be an expert on the suppliers’ production process.

Responsibilities
During this assignment, you will be supporting the organization with following: 

You will be working reactive with Quality issues and proactive with qualification /PPAP.  You will be handling quality deviating articles and secure suppliers production process with corrective measures. The PCBA:s are produced in China and in Europe by established EMS. The clients construct their own PCBA. You will also qualify details during development projects and during process changes (according to automotive PPAP). 

Your workload could include following:

• Qualify, develop and clear deficiencies with current and new suppliers
• Qualify details during development projects and during process changes (PPAP) 
• Handle quality deviation articles and secure the suppliers production process with corrective measures
• Develop methods to reach quality 
• Develop a close cooperation with suppliers and others within the organization to continuously develop the quality work



Qualifications
We think that you should have a masters or bachelor degree within a relative field and that you have a couple of years’ experience in qualifying details. We also think that you should have knowledge of quality methods such as PPAP, APQP; FMEA and control panels. Moreover, you should have good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949. 

For these roles, it is important that you have worked with PCBA in some form before. It is a requirement to have a high level of written and spoken English since the suppliers are located abroad. It is meritorious if you also know Swedish. To be successful in this role you should have the ability to be independent and drive your own activities. You are communicative and an able team worker where your focus is to solve problems to reach desired results.
