Supplier Quality Lead and Engineer for assignment in Helsingborg

ValueOne is looking for a Supplier Quality Lead and Engineer for a one year consultant assignment at a medical company in Helsingborg. The assignment starts in January 2021, full time.

The role

For this assignment we are looking for a person with a background from working in a controlled environment (medical devices, pharma or similar) and with experience from starting up new suppliers. The role as Supplier Quality Lead and Engineer means that you will be supporting a transfer project. The assignment requires you to work both strategic and operational.

Main tasks:

Represent the Quality organization in the project team Manage new supplier qualification and change control Assuring quality end-to-end for components/items in scope Manage supplier quality issues (i.e. micro failures, rejects, etc.) and follow-up on-site investigations for the project Audit and perform supplier assessment Identify and make updates of internal quality documentation  Assist in the measurement and release of components 

Experience and competence

To be qualified for the assignment you must have a scientific degree in pharmacology, chemistry or engineering with 5-10 years of experience from pharmaceutical drug products or related industry. You also need to have good knowledge in molded plastics from a production, quality or procurement perspective. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical drug products (or equivalent) operating functions of quality and compliance, material supply, material handling and control, product manufacturing and product packaging is required as well as responsibility and experience in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment. Auditing experience is preferred, and you need to be fluent in English, oral and written.  

To be successful in the role knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices and Agency compliance expectations is of high importance. We also value project experience of working in and preferably leading projects.
