Overview
The Global Hygiene Supply organization is supporting efficiency and growth of the different product supply organizations around the world. It’s focusing on sharing best practice in the fields of manufacturing excellence, safety, quality, product supply, and capability development as well as supporting and guiding the right investment and technology decisions. The Organization owns and drives sourcing and logistics from a pragmatic and global perspective. In essence, Global Hygiene Supply contributes to making SCA a highly successful global hygiene company by having the safest, most efficient and lowest cost product supply base.
Within the GHS, the ambition of Global Sourcing is to be recognized as the driver for best total costs for SCA. Global Sourcing drives down total costs by managing a sustainable and competitive supply base utilizing appropriate sourcing strategies, processes and resources which support the needs of the business.
The SCA Global Hygiene Supply (GHS) business is currently searching for a Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Manager, located at anyone of our European manufacturing sites, preferably in Mannheim in Germany, Olawa in Poland, Gennep or Hoogezand in the Netherlands or Falkenberg in Sweden.
The SQM Manager will be responsible for minimizing the cost of poor quality and reducing cost for purchased materials by securing SCA Hygiene Business demands for Quality on suppliers. This successful candidate will be responsible for securing that suppliers are aligned with business demands for Product Safety, Environment, Chemicals and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This individual will assure sustainable quality and delivery benefits to the supply chain business, by pro-actively supporting and closely collaborating with the manufacturing sites, as well as by securing continuous supplier monitoring and improvement activities.



Main accountabilities and responsibilities:
Drive the performance of suppliers to comply with requirements as defined in SCA Global Supplier Standard within the areas of Total Quality, Product Safety, Environment, Chemicals and Code of Conduct
Secure total quality and ethical compliance from suppliers as a part of business being awarded. Supplier validation activities includes performing supplier site audits, negotiate Quality Assurance Agreement, assure compliance to SCA Global Supplier Standard and securing ethical/CSR compliance
Continuous monitoring and improvement of supplier performance, including review of supplier rating results, follow up and closure of corrective actions (CAPA) from audits and process assessments as well as taking lead for resolution of quality incidents by execution of root cause analysis
Assure close and pro-active collaboration with SCA’s manufacturing sites, to work efficiently with total quality and supplier performance development
Assure close collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, Operational Sourcing and Hygiene Manufacturing Excellence (HMEX) to work efficiently with total quality and supplier performance development
Support and monitor supplier compliance with SCA Group Sustainability targets by ensuring that supplier complies to SCA Global Supplier Standard and performs self-assessment in Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). Responsibility also includes initiation of CSR/ethical audits, which are carried out in “high risk” areas for Human Right’s violation (execution done by 3rd party solution)
Coordinate and implement SQM best practice within SCA Hygiene by networking with Global- and Regional SQM managers. Development and continuous improvement of SQM common tools and processes.
Participate in cross functional teams, e.g. supply stream teams, networks and relevant manufacturing- and HMEX teams

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ of experience in various Quality and/or Engineering roles with close relations to customers and suppliers. Experience from supplier quality management is qualifying
Minimum 5 years’ experience from Manufacturing/Supply Chain
Strong experience from statistical process control and statistical knowledge for capability studies
Experience from auditing of Quality (incl. production process control), Environment and CSR is a plus. Formal Auditor exams according to ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14000 and AS8000 is qualifying
Educated to degree level (or equivalent)/Membership or Graduate Diploma in a relevant field
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, DDS experience.
Travel: Ability to travel 60 days per year on an international basis
International work orientation and experience with demonstrated leadership skills/networking ability
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Solid SAP or Ariba knowledge is qualifying
Strong analytical competence with advanced Microsoft Office skills
