Supplier Quality Production Specialist

ValueOne is looking for a Supplier Quality Production Specialist for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Jönköping. The assignment will last from end of March to the end of December 2023.

The role  

As Supplier Quality Production Specialist you will act as the initial interface between the factory and supplier regarding quality deviations, and also drive cases to closure. You involve all necessary HVA functions needed to solve supplier related quality problems and initiate methods (8D) towards suppliers in cooperation with SQA.

Main tasks:

Provide feedback to suppliers on quality deviations found within the factory processes.
Send IQN (Initial Quality Notification) to suppliers.
Initiate and send 8D's to suppliers.
Lead morning meetings.
Initiate analyses if needed, and in relevant cases drive them to closure.
Participate in technical councils when needed.
Support and work together with SQA.
Visit suppliers, by your own or together with SQA.
In relevant cases follow up 8D on supplier site.
Support and work together with incoming inspection, claim handling and other functions needed to continuously improve processes and systems related to supplier quality.

Experience and competencies  

The person we are looking for must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area or at least two years of relevant work experience. It is also important that you are capable of reading and understanding drawings. The role demands excellent communication skills in English as well as in Swedish, verbally and in writing.

We value personal qualities such as analytical ability and good problem-solving skills. Furthermore you´re good at coordinating different tasks together and have experience from supplier management.
