We're on the lookout for a Supplier Relations Manager to join the team at a leading car manufacturer. This role sits within the Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L) team, which ensures the availability of accessories and spare parts for global markets. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Supplier Relations Management, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility with innovative and sustainable solutions.
About the role:
• You'll evaluate suppliers, identify key contributors, and develop strategies to enhance their performance.
• Act as a bridge between PS&L and our main suppliers, focusing on critical and high-frequency parts.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Coordinators, Demand Planners, and Part Lifecycle Optimization Managers to ensure a steady supply of parts and accessories.
• Emphasize supplier collaboration and development, aiming for customer satisfaction and streamlined operations.
Main responsibilities:
• Achieve and maintain optimized KPIs like supplier delivery precision and supply days.
• Ensure suppliers meet our capacity and capability needs.
• Enhance flow efficiency and flexibility by optimizing lead times and order sizes.
• Conduct supplier audits and foster a mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers.
• Improve supply chain processes across tiers.
• Innovate supplier collaboration through new concepts, processes, methods, and IT tools.
• Includes some travel days.
Your profile:
• A Master's degree in Logistics, Economy, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with a strong background in supplier audits, production and information process improvement, as well as project and quality management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and a valid B driver’s license.
