Supplier Validation Engineer

We are currently looking for a person with high focus on product quality & production processes!

You will be part of a new team, and take part in developing the ways of working for this role.To establish how to optimize the interaction and build strong relations with adjoining areas in Tetra Pak such as product development, sourcing, and Parts Supply Chain will also be important for this role.

Total Quality Supplier Management is responsible for driving quality with our capital equipment suppliers in the value chain.We do that by establishing a strong feedback loop to our suppliers; ensuring systematic corrective actions are taken on current problems, and work proactively with our suppliers' quality development to deliver towards our long-term quality ambition.

In your role you will participate in cross-functional sourcing teams focusing on identifying the best possible suppliers for parts and securing good quality from these suppliers.The position will involve working in multinational environment and quite some travels primarily in Sweden and Europe.

As Supplier Validation Engineer you will also be responsible to:

- Give input to Supplier Management when they choose a supplier for a new component or change supply of a component.
- Validate that the supplier produces the parts according to expectations.
- Work according to the new PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for Tetra Pak.


Kvalifikationer


Ideally you have a technical education including mechanical disciplines, or have developed a solid knowledge in manufacturing technology by working with Quality Assurance or production.
Additional to this you possess understanding of World Class Manufacturing or other recognised Continuous Improvement tools in the area of data collection, deployment and root cause analysis.Previous knowledge of working with suppliers and PPAP is merited.

The person we are looking for has strong networking & communication ability and can work across organisational lines with significant supplier quality focus.Additionally she/he needs to take an analytical and systematic approach when dealing with quality aspects together with internal & external partners.She/he is able to be a speaking partner within a multinational environment at all levels.As a result it is a prerequisite that you have a good command of English

You should be able to combine the role of a clear driver as well as a contributing team player.A high technical interest would be very valuable when working as Supplier Validation Engineer.
