Joining us you will be a member of the Global Warranty Support Department, organized within our Product Development function. Within this team we are responsible for developing warranty systems and processes, campaign calculations, decisions and process, supplier warranty recovery and safety investigations. We are a team of 10 employees who aim for treating our customers and suppliers fair, at the same time as we need to minimize the payment for taking care of quality problems. We have a broad area of responsibility, which means that together with us you have a great possibility to learn and to develop both professionally and personally, because when you succeed, we succeed.


This is how you could make an impact


You will be responsible to investigate the warranty cost for several of our Volvo Bus suppliers. When the warranty cost is high, you will investigate with our quality department, if we have a known quality problem. You will lead, when needed, the warranty material analyzes of components together with the supplier. When our supplier is liable you will negotiate the cost. You will support Volvo bus in holding our suppliers accountable for their quality problems in order to improve the quality of our products.

We also believe that:
You have a relevant degree and work experience
You have a relevant product knowledge of Volvo bus/truck products or similar
You can evaluate complex technical issues together with other engineers
You appreciate and are good at working in networks
You have the interest to dig into supplier agreements, functional/technical specifications and Product Application Agreements (PAA)
You want to develop the recovery process together with our colleagues in the Volvo Group
You are used to plan and structure your own activities
Relevant knowledge of internal Volvo warranty and aftermarket systems and tools are an advantage
