Job Summary
Additional Materials at Tetra Pak comprise all materials, namely openings & closures, straws, strips & films, complementing the packaging material which together shape a complete package. Additional Materials has a global factory presence and is operated by almost 1000 employees.
The team of planning and logistics within Additional Materials, work with global production capacity planning by optimizing demand allocation globally pending ​factory capabilities via analyses of forecast and ​available output. We also work with optimizing transports by cost and service, making sure we have sufficient storage capacity and an efficient order flow.
This team is now ready for a new colleague, a Supply Chain Analyst, who wants to be part of a team that works with optimizing the supply chain for additional materials in regards of cost, service, quality and sustainability. In this role you will belong to the logistics team but will also work with planning team.
This is a permanent position located in either Lund - Sweden or Modena - Italy, but you will work in a global arena. Some travelling is required.
What you will do
As our new colleague, you will:
Drive the development of relevant business reporting for Additional Material supply chain
Provide analyses results supporting the central planning and logistic teams in optimizing the supply chain.
Automatize manual reporting and maintain and develop existing reporting
Independently, as well as with your colleagues, build knowledge and solve problems
Train the team and capture opportunities of improving the way we work in our business by exploiting data
Support in digitalization projects

We believe you have
Educational background with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, industrial engineering or similar.
At least 1-2 years of working experience within supply chain
Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must
Experience from working with Business intelligence is considered as a plus
Experience from database handling and ERP system is considered as a plus

To be successful in this position you are a clear and good communicator, you need to be accurate when looking into details, have an analytic mindset, and be good at figuring out how to get things done. You naturally take initiative, drive for results, and have the ability to deliver on time and under pressure in a collaborative way both independently and with colleagues. We believe that you like to solve problems.
Furthermore, you can adjust to the situation and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. In addition, you have the interest and ability to handle the big picture in deliverables at the same time as being interested in technical details.
