Global External Sourcing (GES) is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. We are organized in a Process Centric Organization (PCO) with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will have the operational responsibility for supply from one or more suppliers and the customers associated with the suppliers, and has the authority to make operational decisions with suppliers/customers that ensure the timely supply of product whilst maximizing efficiencies for the business. It is important that you communicates on a daily basis around orders, delivery plans, forecasts, stock levels etc, in order to make the right decisions and prioritizations with the customer and supplier in focus. In the roll as Supply Chain Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work globally and come across with different cultures. The key role is communication and a like to build, maintain and develop customer relations.

Om kunden
Responsibilities
• Operationally Coordinate supply of products in alignment with our customer’s demand and agreed stock levels, following the process for the agreed supply method (VMI/CMI), ensuring stock levels are in line with RBU.
• Process customer orders, raising purchase orders to suppliers in line with contractual requirements and receipting stock on delivery from suppliers.
• Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers/customers regarding demand, supplier’s ability to meet demand and day-to-day delivery plan.
• Responsible for accurately measuring and reporting key performance indicators.
• Lead and participate in Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements teams.
• Ensure to deliver consistency with the GES supply management framework i.e. one way of working across the organization regardless of geographic location or portfolio.

Arbetsuppgifter
Requirements:
• 2+ years in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning)
• Understanding of different supply methods (IRL, VMI/CMI, Flow, Kanban)
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• The role holder should be fluent in spoken and written English
• Commercially aware
• Globally and culturally aware
• Comfortable in defining new processes and seeking to continuously improve existing processes
• Able to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing environment

Krav
Preferred Background:
• Education requirements: A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• Experience in participating in the S&OP process
• Commercial experience is a plus
• SAP ERP (MRP) knowledge
