Scania Logistics Nordic, OL, is a part of Scania Global Logistics and our mission is to develop, operate and optimize our supply chain from supplier to Scania production. We globally develop, manage and optimize logistics by building and operate flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality at minimal logistic cost.

Material Supply Engineering is a team responsible for first line engineering with focus on maintaining high efficiency in our supply chain. The team is working close to our daily operations to support and secure real time measures to improve and challenge our ways of working within the department and cross functionally in the company. The team also holds an important role when it comes to integrating new business requirements into existing ways of working and manage our vital IT systems. The group consists of seven driven, competent, and positive supply chain developers with diverse backgrounds and mixed experience.
The position
As a member of the Material Supply Engineering team, you will be a key player in taking Inbound Logistics to the next level, by creating efficient flows, business solutions and continuously challenge and improve our processes. You will have an important role in developing Scania’s Transport Network and support the Transport- and Material Control processes by identifying, initiating, developing, and leading improvement projects and assignments, both cross functional and internal. You will work with leading and participating in projects, but also work with assignments on your own.
You will have a high focus on sustainability as we are focusing heavily on Scania’s sustainability journey where working with partnerships, internal and external, is a key to reach our high sustainability target. You will also have the possibility to work with and develop your skills within digitalisation, as this will be an enabler for the future development of the inbound network and improve our processes which will be needed to reach the company’s long-term targets.
Your profile
We believe that you have a university degree within logistics or similar. Work experience within Supply chain development or logistics is required. You will work in an international environment with many contact surfaces, where communication and cooperation are the keys to success.
You are a positive, driven, curious and communicative person with a talent in connecting with new people. You easily see the big picture, understand the details, see new opportunities, and take initiatives for improvements. You are skilled in analysing and are comfortable in applying new technologies to support in the digitalization journey.
