At the Supply Chain function, we are accountable for all services connected to the supply chain processes within Product Area (PA) Rock Tools. Our common goal is to identify, develop and practically implement the best possible solutions for the PA, and we work in line with current business needs to find cost-effectiveness, quality and integrating synergies. We are now looking for a Supply Chain Development Expert - you will join a position in our organization where you get an exciting opportunity to work with global contacts, building an extensive network and, together with the team, take on the challenge of bringing our function into the future.

This position is preferably based in Sandviken, Sweden but other locations can be considered.

JOB SUMMARY
As a Supply Chain Development Expert, you are the main process owner for business critical systems, applications and databases, and you play an important role in the management of our solutions and processes. You work in close cooperation with global and regional inventory management teams, production units, process and system experts, finance and IT. You also lead and execute the design, implementation, testing and communication of new supply chain processes and suggest continuous improvements, in order to enable us to reach given business objectives. Additionally, you align design changes in existing business processes, as well as produce training material and provide support for end-users and project team members.

Planned travel is a natural part of this position.

We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably within Logistics, IT or Software, and at least three years’ relevant work experience in a supply chain and logistics context. You have solid IT skills and an understanding of business processes, including business process development and implementation. Experience from working with project, change and stakeholder management is key to being successful in this position, while having previously worked in a complex and global organization is considered a great advantage. You are a skilled user of the Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems. Furthermore, you have excellent English skills, in both writing and speaking, while skills in Swedish or another language are advantageous.
