At the moment we are looking for an Operations Manager, focusing on our small & medium business segments. Based in Lund, Sweden, you will be an important addition to our Operations Development team and will report to the Operations Development Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be an interface between Operations, in particular the Global Supply Chain organization, and other parts of Axis, e.g. Product Management, R&D, Global Sales and the local Small & Medium Business sales teams in our regions. You will not have any direct reporting staff, but in your projects you will also use other resources, e.g. from the supply chain team.

These are the specific tasks we expect you to fulfil:

Fully understand business drivers, success factors and development in the Small and Medium Business segment. This requires travelling to meet key people and understand this business in our major sales regions. Analyze, prioritize and define specific supply chain needs for this segment. In close cooperation with the global supply chain team, plan and implement supply chain improvements needed to grow Axis’ business in the small & medium business. Drive projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness for this segment in our global supply chain. Develop and implement KPI:s to track supply chain quality and development specifically for this segment. Represent Operations in new projects in this segment.
The role involves traveling, app. 30-60 days/year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and organized leader with previous experience from Supply Chain and Business Management. The ideal candidate has:

Previous supply chain experience, preferably as a manager and/or within process development.

At least 5 years’ experience working in a global environment. Business experience within product or segment management or similar. A university degree in engineering or business. Strong communication skills, both in spoken and written Swedish and English. Additional language skills is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and social – teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success in this role. Experience from an international manufacturing company, preferably electronics, is an advantage.
Apart from the above you are structured, analytical, open minded and have a strong drive. You can work independently but at the same time you successfully collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. Operations Development
You will be a part of our Operations Development team, were we initiate, facilitate and drive strategic projects to improve our business, both internally and in our global supply chain. You will be a vital part of the team, and will be fully responsible for initiating and executing projects in your area of responsibility.

You will work in very close collaboration with Axis Supply Chain organization. This organization is responsible for all material handling and our global product flow. This includes activities such as purchasing of material, receiving and handling customer orders, product configuration, shipping and delivery of products worldwide according to customer orders.
