Supply Chain Engineer - industrialization-LUN0000KP
Do you want to be a key player in Supply Chain Operations?
In our modern production facility in Lund we assembly and test advanced filling machines for our customers. This includes Tetra Pak's latest state of the art filling machine system. As part of the production industrialization team you will have a key role acting as the link between product development and production, securing Supply Chain criteria's in design, prepare and support the introduction of new designs in the Supply Chain both at suppliers and in our production flow.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in early design process to ensure design for manufacturing, assembly and cost point of view
- Improve production technology and seek new optimal solutions for the production
- Lead corrective action work to improve manufacturing specifications and be "the bridge" between the design community and our manufacturing suppliers
- Securing the introduction of new drawing documentation and tests in supply chain
- Support the daily production flow in factory by securing quality of machine modules from external Supply Chain
Qualifications
As a person we believe that you have a passionate interest in production both from a technical and business perspective. You are accurate and have a structured work approach. You feel secure in a role where you need to make decisions and prioritize and you welcome new challenges. We also believe that you have good skills in communicating with different kinds of people in different kinds of environments.
To be successful in this position you will need to have at least five years experience of working in a production environment with similar responsibilities. Experience from working in a project environment is a plus. You have good skills in design and
manufacturing technology and good knowledge in mechanics, materials, quality assurance and drawings standards. You also have a good understanding of how design affects the production costs.
