Supply Chain Manager

ValueOne is looking for two Supply Chain Managers for six month consultant assignments at our customers premises in Lund, Skåne. The assignments are to be appointed in early June.

The role  

As Supply Chain Manager you will be part of the procurement function that is responsible for sourcing, contracting, and management of the supplier base. Focus is on the area of electrical cabinet. The group is managing the procurement capability growth, direct supplier management, and the development of Global Category Strategies. The group also supports all Processing Solutions & Equipment projects and installations, securing the seamless delivery of integrated offerings.  

Main tasks:

Supplier relationships.
Conduct negotiations.
Find and realize cost reduction opportunities.
Ensure supplier performance with regard to on time deliveries and compliance with general internal requirements.
Contribute to category strategy creation and be part of the implementation of these.
Support re-sourcing processes through the preparation, analysis and consolidation of RFIs and RfQs documents.

Experience and competencies  

The person we are looking for needs to have a couple of years of experience from supplier management, preferably in an international environment. The position demands commercial, relational and negotiation skills. Also, proficiency in Excel is required. Fluency in English, in speech and writing, is a must. Experience from Food & Packaging Industry and knowledge in SAP on a user level is meritorious.

As a person you are results-oriented, self-driven, and have strong communication skills. Building successful relations with stakeholders comes naturally to you. Furthermore you are analytical, methodical, and efficient.
