Job / Skills

Wilo Nordic's warehouse in Växjö is the Nordic Supply chain Hub delivering to all customers in Finland, Norway and Sweden. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for Wilo Nordic. Apart from overseeing the daily tasks you will have the responsibility for purchase, logistics, supply and order management.

Further responsibilities consist of ensuring that objectives set on safety, quality, customer service, costs and inventory levels are met. The position also includes the responsibility for the cost budget.

Through regular assessments, you will work for continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity. Guaranteeing that current legislative demands and regulations are applied correctly with every team member is also within your responsibilities. You will also interact with the global supply chain organization in the Wilo group to promote and implement best practice in logistic operations in the group. You need to be comfortable in using English in everyday interaction with colleagues in Germany and Finland. Academic education is a plus but not mandatory and if you have worked with lean processes it's meritorious.

Over time, 5-8 employees will be reporting to you in this role. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance & Operation.

In the role as manager, you will be motivating and engaging your co-workers and simultaneously, by solid follow-ups, make sure that lean supply chain processes are in place throughout all areas. All of this in the spirit of our intention to bring the right level of service to our customers. In an innovative way, working to improve all our processes and tools is something that everyone at Wilo Nordic is involved in.



Personality / commitment

We are looking for someone with the ability to lead the team and who feels confident with managing the supply chain process. Your passion for purchases, logistics and order management is well known. Your strategic and analytical abilities support you in achieving results that benefit our customers as well as the organization. You are comfortable with changes and are well aware of questions that affect the organization and its processes. You also understand that success is best achieved through well-structured collaboration and communication.
