Main responsibility
The overall responsibility for the position is to develop and maintain an efficient end-to-end supply chain for the local market. The position has a responsibility to develop both the department and the company as a whole also by working cross-border with other departments. The position is expected to provide feedback and participate in the development of strategies, business plan and budget for the department. The position is responsible for ensuring that developments are in line with the set targets and quotas. To work actively with communication and implementation of routines and policies is expected.

The position is responsible for actively participating in department meetings and local meetings with teams. The position is expected to work sustainably and in accordance with current policies and regulations and participate in their development.

Personnel responsibilities
The position holds employee and performance talks and approves Time-off for staff at the department. Operation Managers is responsible for competence development and working environment. The position is expected to make recommendations for new recruitments and redundancies. Perhaps the most important task of the position is to implement and live the company culture and always work in accordance with Svea Solar´s values for both managers and employees.

Tasks

- Develop, implement and continuously improve logistical processes from supplier to installation in the local market.
- Manage Svea Solar’s warehousing operations in Sweden, both internally and third-party warehousing.
- Responsible for efficient management of project-specific logistics and purchasing arrangements in the local market.
- Manage negotiations with local suppliers for materials and services in accordance with global guidelines and policies.
- Be the escalation point and driving force in the event of delivery disruptions and/or other supplier issues.
- Responsible for the implementation and follow-up of company-wide guidelines and policies n the local market (with regards to KPIs, lead time reductions, optimization of order quantities, capital tied up)
- Responsible for supply planning and material availability in the local market through spot purchasing, call-off orders and/or distribution replenishment.
- Oversee safety and work environment within the own department.
- Responsible for results and costs within the own department.
