What you'll do?
As the Supply Chain Planner, it is your responsibility to ensure that the supply of materials meet the production demand and minimum stock levels to ensure operational continuity within your specific area. The goal is to deliver effective and quality based solutions, and to achieve this you will be part of a serial logistics team and work closely together with Veoneer production, suppliers and customer.
The position requires a flexible mindset and a problem solving and “can do” attitude, as well as an ability to develop new processes and ways of working. Ensuring accountability from both yourself and others is also a key for success.
Additionally, your responsibility also includes working with overall continuous improvements and supporting the Logistics Department achieve its long-term targets, primarily regarding inventory levels and stock turnover.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the work to ensure material availability for serial production
- Communicate material availability with different stakeholders and escalate when necessary
- Ensure correct level of component inventory
- Monitor supplier performance
- Material planning to the suppliers
- Develop tools and work processes to support an effective material planning
- Actively work with continuous improvement of working methods within both your own area and general logistics

You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in teams. As a person, you have drive forward, yet with a sense for structure and responsibility. You understand the different roles involved in the product planning and you enjoy working with process development, finding possibilities for improvements in your daily work.
Level (diploma) required:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Engineering or Accounting degrees
Other required skills:
- Experience from Supply Chain Planning, especially within electronic component sourcing
- Good knowledge in English both written and verbal
- High IT-knowledge, experience with Movex is highly merited
- Knowledge in the Veoneer product line is merited
