Supply Chain Planner

ValueOne is looking for a Supply Chain Planner for a longer assignment at a company in Stockholm. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible. The assignment is expected to run for at least six months. For the right candidate there is a strong possibility of being offered a permanent role after completed assignment.

The role  

The role involves responsibility for management of inventory, demand, purchasing and replenishment planning and execution including including stock planning and interaction with suppliers, transporters and customs broker(s).  

Main tasks:

Manage the demand planning process in collaboration with the SCM.
Be the main contact to the 3PL provider.
Manage import and customs clearance.
Manage freight bookings, monitor freight execution and handle transport claims.
Take part in the management and development of the demand and supply planning processes and systems.
Manage and resolve purchase order issues and support Customer Service.
Manage purchase proposals and purchase order creation.
Manage inbound transportation bookings and monitoring. Proactively look for alternatives in case of delivery delays.
Manage production/re-work planning and execution in collaboration with the logistics partner.
Report on Out of stock / Low stock / high stock together with other SC KPI’s.
Take part in Demand review meetings.
Manage Supply and Demand KPI reporting.
Be responsible for Product master data management when needed. 

Experience and competencies  

The ideal candidate for this assignment must have university degree in logistics or supply chain and a general working experience of minimum five years. The role demands experience in planning and purchasing for goods in the FMCG area working with an international supplier base. Proficiency in tools for Demand and Supply Planning and ERP systems, preferably Navision, is essential as well as knowledge in Excel and managing reporting tools like powerBI. The role furthermore demands fluency in English, oral and written. Swedish is meritorious.
