Supply Chain Project and Category Manager to The Absolut Company
Do you have at least 10 years of experience working with procurement/supply chain and from FMCG multi-cultural organizations? Are you an experienced project manager with organizational & analytic skills and are good at building relationships? Then this may be the next step in your career! We are looking for an experienced and confident Supply Chain Project and Category Manager with a solution-oriented mindset. The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Åhus but with a global role and cross functional project management required across the different business units. Travels are required by approximately 40 % of the working hours. The nature of the job requires the ability to work evenings for meetings in different time zones.
Your work assignments
We offer you a role where you will work closely with and support Director Supply Chain and the Supply Chain leadership team. The strategic direction for the position is to enhance the S&OP process and to drive supply chain excellence by maximizing value creation along 4 main value lenses from end-to-end, including Margin improvements, Security of supply, Sustainable sourcing, and Innovation. The role will be working closely with the business units within The Absolut Company (specifically Operations in Åhus, Nöbbelöv and Stockholm), Pernod Ricard HQ in Paris and affiliates, market companies and external suppliers, consultants and networks to identify best practices, increase the efficiency, reduce business risk and to support The Absolut Company and Pernod Ricard strategies.
Key responsibilities of the position:
Category management of one or several areas
Provide fit-for-purpose advanced analysis
Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects within Supply Chain from initial request through to completion
Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are gathered, understood, and properly translated for execution
Support medium to long term The Absolut Company and Pernod Ricard supply chain strategies
Actively participate to the Pernod Ricard Supply Chain and Procurement transformation
Propose & maintain efficient internal processes, provide analytical support, and manage performance reporting in different areas
Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and "manage" the stakeholders. This includes escalate issues to the next level of management
Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and/or customer objectives
Contribute business knowledge and experience to all projects

The role reports to Director Supply Chain, is part of a team of eight employees but has no direct reports. Major contact points of the role are business units within The Absolut Company (specifically Åhus Nöbbelöv and Stockholm), Pernod Ricard HQ and affiliates, market companies and external suppliers, consultants and networks.
Your profile
You have a university degree of Master of Sciences or similar and a successful record working in a procurement/supply chain organization as well as experience in working within FMCG multi-cultural organizations. Practical experience and capabilities in digital and advanced data analytics is required. Other requirements are proficiency in the Microsoft Office Tools, being fluent in English in both speech and writing and having a driving license.
To succeed in the role, you need excellent project management skills with strong business and financial acumen, planning and organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, you are data driven with strong analytic skills, you enjoy advanced problem-solving and act with good sense of ethics and integrity. To thrive and be able to do a good job, you must be a highly motivated self-starter, a confident and action-oriented visionary with a hands-on approach and have a solution-focused mindset with a can-do attitude. Being a team player with a flexible and adaptable approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is key.
