Parts Supply Chain (PSC) within Tetra Pak Services Operations has the task to design and implement a single process from supplier to end user, to increase availability and service level, reduce cost and optimise stock levels. As a part of this organisation, Planning & Quality works to secure global availability and quality of parts to meet our customer requests.
We have a modern logistics platform serving customers all over the world from our Distribution Centers in Lund, Moscow, Shanghai, Dubai, Chicago, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Sao Paulo. Our aim is being a world class logistics provider.
This position is a temporary position for initially 12 months and is based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do
As Supply Chain Specialist you are responsible to secure Supplier performance in terms of Delivery. This will be done in close collaboration with both Supplier management and Suppliers. You have an important role as logistics/planning expert in the development of our suppliers. As Supply Chain Specialist you drive and develop both proactive and reactive countermeasures to address changes at suppliers and in the global business landscape.
Perform analysis and drive activities to improve supplier delivery performance and lead time reductions
Support Supplier Management with key logistical input as part of supplier base management and negotiation.
In Collaboration with Supplier Management develop suppliers within logistics area
Utilize and improve Part Supply Chain planning system
Design and develop routines and tools to support the development of our department

Who you are
To be successful in this position you possess excellent analytical skills and can work independently towards set goals. As a person, you are result oriented, structured, and driven. You are able to form, drive and implement concrete action plans from your analysis. You like to work in teams and have very good networking skills.
We believe you have very good theoretical knowledge (preferably a M.Sc. University degree) and practical experience of inventory management, supply chain and statistics. You have excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel and are used to work with large amount of data sets. Understanding SAP R/3 is a plus but not required. Since you will be working in a truly international environment, fluency in English, both verbal and written is of course required.
