ValueOne is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist for a longer consultant assignment at a global manufacturing company in Västerås. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.
The role
The role as Supply Chain Specialist means that you will be responsible for the availability of raw materials and/or finished goods. You will design, drive, and communicate delivery plans with the suppliers and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.
Main tasks:
Set inventory parameters, inventory targets.
Issue purchase orders and follow up on confirmations and similar operational tasks.
Present delivery situation including backlog evolutions to management team.
Experience and competencies:
To be successful in this role you need to have a university degree or higher practical background within business, logistics, inventory management or equivalent work experience. You have experience from working with material planning, purchasing or equivalent. If you have knowledge of SAP, it is meritorious. We expect you to be fluent in Swedish and English in writing and speaking
As a person you are collaborative and have a solution-focused approach. Moreover, you are result oriented and driven and is good at stakeholder management.
