Schneider Electric Buildings AB .Buildings Business is one of four Business Units within Schneider Electric.Buildings Business Logistics and Production (L&P) has the global responsibility for: Purchasing/Supply Management, Logistics and production within Buildings Business.The tree main locations are Västerhaninge (Sweden), Rockford (US) and Clovis (US).In Västerhaninge we employ 110 people whereof 80 in the production.Yearly turnover at L&P in Västerhaninge is approx 100 MEUR. Role Description Purchasing has a strong focus on lean supply chain where optimization of logistics and quality performance are key factors.The role is to support both Component and Product flow to our logistics centre in Västerhaninge who is serving our customers worldwide. In this role you will develop supplier's performance with focus on logistics and quality, manage claim and repair flow and drive continuous improvement projects in order to secure process excellence together with the purchasing team.Analysis of data and reporting is natural in your role.You communicate with both internal customers and with international suppliers on a regular basis.In this role you report to the VP of Central Purchasing Sweden.Travel approx 5-20 days per year. Your background Academic degree or at least two years Academic education within Supply Chain Management. Minimum one to three years of purchasing and procurement experience.Building management system products are preferable. Fluent in English and Swedish both oral and written.
