At the Supply Chain function, we are accountable for all services connected to the supply chain processes within Product Area (PA) Rock Tools. Our common goal is to identify, develop and practically implement the best possible solutions for the PA, and we work in line with current business needs to find cost-effectiveness, quality and integrating synergies. We are now looking for a Supply Chain System and Process Expert - you will join a position in our organization where you get an exciting opportunity to work with global contacts, building an extensive network and, together with the team, take on the challenge of bringing our function into the future.

This position is preferably based in Sandviken, Sweden but other locations can be considered.

JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you are responsible for the development, implementation and support of our supply chain solutions and you work in close cooperation with global and regional inventory management teams, production units, process and system experts, finance and IT. Working with a range of business critical applications, systems and databases, you gather data and requirements to enable the design, implementation, testing and communication of new supply chain processes and you produce training material and provide support for end-users and project team members. If needed, you act as project manager and are actively engaged in analyzing and optimizing our supply chain processes and you report on deviations and suggest continuous improvements to enable us to reach given business objectives.

Planned travel is a natural part of this position.

We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree in IT or Software, and at least five years’ work experience, preferably in a supply chain and logistics context. You have solid IT skills and an understanding of system applications and databases, including what role they play in business processes. Experience from working with project and stakeholder management, business process implementation and change is key to being successful in this position, while having previously worked in a complex and global organization is considered a great advantage. You are a skilled user of the Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems. Further, you have excellent English skills, in both writing and speaking, while skills in Swedish or another language are advantageous.
