The Merchandising function is to meet and create customer & consumer demand through product offer optimization and activation. As a Supply & Demand Manager, you will lead and support dynamic franchisee merchandising teams to drive efficient markets demand fulfilment, spurring sales growth.
You will guide demand planning, based on supply dynamics, manage stock levels, reduction cost and purchasing, and shape buying methods. Additionally, you will integrate markets insights globally and strategize stock management, aligning with purchasing tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide rolling update on forecast and deviation from plan on region and market level (short, mid & long term) to high light potential action needs such as buying or stock activation.
Accountable for execution and outcome of the buying methods, (% buying).
Influence and execute the global product strategy from Business Units and Global Merchandising,
Optimize regional commercial product offerings for all available channels, both short and long term.
Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the franchisee teams meet or exceed performance targets.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Supply & Demand Manager, we see that you have deep understanding of buying and planning and can understand stock management strategies and practices. We also believe that you have analytical skills with a structured way of working. In addition, you have high level of salesmanship with a collaborative mindset.
What you need to succeed:
University degree, preferably in Business, Economics/Finance or similar.
3-5 year’s experience in merchandising, stock management, buying or planning, preferably experience from both retail and digital.
Previous formal or informal leadership experience.
Ability to travel abroad several times per year.
Advanced Excel user and programming skills are meriting.
Good communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
