Supply & Demand Planner – Fine Chemicals

Main responsibilities
Global responsibility for monitoring, planning and optimizing Fine Chemical’s supply & demand needs
Supply optimization based on data analytics evaluating capacity and costs
Operating within various parts and levels of the organization to coordinate data and balance input from stakeholders at our production sites as well as sales teams
Evaluate supply and demand to organize production plans and assess business opportunities


Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant professional area (e.g. Sales and Operations planning, Planner, Supply Chain Planning etc.)
Proven analytical skills as well as a performance and process driven attitude
Certification in “APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management” (CPIM) or “Certified Supply Chain Professional” (CSCP) is preferred



To be successful in this position we believe that you are a highly analytical individual with English proficiency as well as excellent skills in MS Office package and SAP (or equivalent ERP system). You also have a solid understanding of supply chain and business processes and can prioritize in order to complete projects with limited direction.
Previous experience with Power BI or Arkieva or equivalent advanced planning software is preferred. You are confident working with data analytics, including mass cross-reference data validation, trending, and forecasting.
The position is based in Gamlestan (Gothenburg) but requires occasional travel. Approximately 10 % of Regional & Global travel is estimated.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the BP Manager Renewable Fibers & Specialty Oxidants and based in Gamlestan (Gothenburg).
