Supply Developer to a manufacturing company in Stockholm

ValueOne is looking for a Supply Developer for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Stockholm. The assignment will be filled as soon as possible and lasts until 31 December with the possibility of extension.

The role

As a Supply Developer you will be a member of a global, category managed, sourcing team responsible for the inbound supply flow to the company´s plants and warehouse.

You will be responsible to solve specific immediate supply issues, as well as continuous supply improvement projects in close co-operation with external suppliers and logistics departments. In your daily work you perform supply analysis and take proactive actions to constantly optimize the inbound supply flow.

Main tasks:

Drive Back on track activities within supplyProactively detect and avoid potential supply deviations  Drive and monitor supplier improvement projectsFind solutions and improve deliveries in specific delivery issues.

Experience and competence

The ideal candidate for this assignment has a university or college degree from a technical field, or similar experience. You have a solid logistical knowledge with exerience from international company relationships and transactions. Good knowledge of LEAN and quality processes is an advantage. We also value knowledge of various manufacturing processes and SAP. Fluency in English, written and verbal is a must.

The person we are looking for has a technical interest, a commercial mindset and a positive attitude. You possess a strong inner drive and you don´t hesitate to take action and ownership of the tasks at hand. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator and networker who easily creates trust and long-term relationships.
