Description
Supplier Management manages the Supply Base for Tetra Pak's outsourced production of Capital Equipment. As Supply Manager within Module & Drawn Component Purchasing you are part of a team that is responsible to develop business relations with our suppliers to achieve and align with Tetra Pak's strategic targets for all manufactured and assembled parts and modules.
In your role you will be responsible for the commercial relationship of specific suppliers to achieve superior performance in terms of quality, delivery and cost performance. Some of the most important parts of the job are the internal company alignment around supplier development strategy; process improvements within the team and the negotiations with suppliers. You get motivated by working towards set targets where you can influence the activities and results as well as sharing best practices with team members.
You should expect to travel approximately 30 days per year.
Main responsibilities
- Developing and managing the business relationships with our global supply base
- Responsible for cost, quality, delivery and service performance - Responsible for implementation of supply base category strategies
- Drive sourcing and contracting activites including writing and negotiating agreements
Qualifications
As a Supply Manager you have strong personal drive to meet the objectives within the area of responsibility. Strong communication and social skills help you build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. A high level of commercial, legal and negotiating skills are essential for the position. You enjoy and are stimulated by coordinating resources to be able to find the best solution for the challenges identified. In addition to that you have a structured holistic view and an analytical mindset.
You have a University degree in Engineering or Economics. Preferred profile for the position is five years of experience from a similar position with responsibility for a number of suppliers, including strategic and operational responsibility. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
