Overview
The Supply Manager secures product availability and required service level by balancing the demand-/capacity-situation for Finished Goods for a region at the lowest possible stock levels.
Provide expert mid, long and strategic planning knowledge in various projects. Key contributor to strategic decisions like capex or divestments.
Responsible for developing and implementing the appropriate mid, long and strategic planning processes in place to support the BU's strategies and drives the S&OP and Strategic Planning process.



Main Tasks
Is Role Model for Safety
Secure & Communicate Supply Situation of Finished Products for short/mid and long term horizon
Set, lead and constantly improve major planning processes like Long-Term-Plan / S&OP, Budget, Strategic Planning
Proactively identify possible bottlenecks and propose appropriate actions
Balance Demand-/Capacity Situation FG and safeguard product availability at lowest cost, including working capital
Change and optimize allocation and sourcing structure in order to support lowest level total supply chain costs
Ensure cost efficient product flow and allocation
Lead Long-term-planning-process
Follow-up and analyze service level & ensure actions are taken to reach target
Support further development of systems, tools and processes within production planning area
Act as interface between Sites, markets and category. Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within his/her department

Key Competencies
University degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Master of Science) or equivalent with relevant practice
Fluent English spoken and written is a must and other local European language(s) is a strong advantage
Extended, preferably more than 5 years, experience on managerial logistics/supply chain related position in competitive manufacturing/logistics environment across different countries
In depth knowledge and experience in logistics
Proven practice of international work experience. Intercultural competence.
Ability to drive continuous improvements and demonstrate a sense of urgency, coach and sharing best practices
Besides strong leadership skills, ability to act as a team player
Initiative, drive and personal commitment
High personal, mental and professional flexibility
Readiness for extensive business travel
